Christmas hamper drive begins
A spooktacular time was had at SESS’ Haunted House on Saturday evening. Halloween was celebrated largely without incident throughout the South Okanagan and Similkameen this year, with few disturbances reported.

The Okanagan Falls Helping Hand food and donation drive is about to get underway.
Boxes will be appearing in Okanagan Falls retail outlets, at local churches, at the Legion and at the Senior’s Centre on November 12. Delivery day for items collected is expected to be on December 19.
A meeting of the Helping Hand Committee is slated for November 25 at the Legion.
The annual “Fill the Van” drive is anticipated to take place on Sunday December 6 this year in conjunction with the Christmas Light Up event.
