The 2009 village budget includes provision for the purchase of several exposed aggregate trash receptacles for the downtown section of Keremeos.

Two thousand dollars was provided for the first installment of the initiative this year.

The removal of several elm trees along the south edge of Memorial Park will be contracted out following a decision by council.

Associated Engineering will be assessing the costs associated with a water based geo-exchange heating / cooling system for both Victory Hall and the municipal office building prior to the issuing of further contracts for upgrades to either building.
