Concert event coming to Linden Gardens

For the last year Ron Roth of Twin Lakes has been putting on concerts in Vancouver. He has been wanting to do something near Twin Lakes and was waiting for an opportunity with Ken and Margaret Hayter to put on some music at Linden Gardens in Kaleden.

Quite suddenly, Roth has put together a concert in the garden for Tuesday, July 8th due to an opportunity to offer Eilen (pronounced “eelin”) Jewell a stop on their way from Snowbird, Utah to the Bellingham/Seattle area. Ron specializes in world-class Americana music and the crowd can expect a very fun and accessible band which leans to country swing. Eilen has performed in prestigious venues and has been invited to play throughout Europe. Boise-raised, now a resident of Boston, she is gaining praise across North America. Her music can be sampled at www.eilenjewel.com The band is playing for the better part of the door so it would be nice to make them happy and get a good turnout.

It looks to be a beautiful evening on July 8th and a concert in the gardens will be something to remember.

The charge for the concert is only $10 at the door. Under 16 is free. Hopefully, this will be an event where a family can come without breaking the bank. Cheaper than the movies. Linden Gardens will be making food and refreshment available.

If this is successful in terms of making the band happy, then there is every expectation that more events like this will take place in the near future.
