The seventh annual Okanagan Sport Leadership Conference will be held Saturday, Oct. 24 at UBC Okanagan.
This is a special sport conference designed to provide sport education opportunities and hands-on training skills for coaches and sport administrators.
It brings together a team of sports experts from across Canada to offer interactive seminars on a variety of topics including: Sport Psychology, Functional Assessments, Dynamic Warm-Ups, and Activated Partner Training.
In addition, guest speaker Chris Johnson—also known as Dr. Laugh—will bring the keynote address on motivation in sport.
The cost of the conference, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., is $50 per person and includes lunch.
