Learn how to help wildlife at risk

If you’re interested in how you can help participate in recovering and protecting species at risk, you’re welcome to attend a presentation at the monthly meeting of the Central Okanagan Naturalists’ Club Tuesday.

The Species at Risk Act will be the topic of a talk by the Canadian Wildlife Service’s recovery planner Lucy Reiss, who has recently relocated to Kelowna.

She will provide a summary of the progress made on implementation of the Species at Risk Act, talk about some of the ongoing challenges and how you can make a difference. The CONC meeting is at the Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Dr., 7 p.m.. Visitors are welcome.
