An unattended burning candle is being blamed by the Kelowna Fire Department as the source of a fire that broke out in a house on Lowe Court late Monday night.
Three engine companies and 15 firefighters responded to the fire call at 10:30 p.m.
Four residents were home at the time of the fire, one suffering minor burns and smoke inhalation.
The fire department estimates the damage to the home at $50,000.
