Police pursued suspects of an armed robbery in Maple Ridge to a Kelowna apartment building.

RCMP Const. Steve Holmes said Kelowna police received a request from Ridge Meadows police to watch out for a vehicle.

He noted the vehicle was connected with a woman suspected of robbery with a firearm in Ridge Meadows.

RCMP picked up the suspect vehicle in Kelowna on Wednesday afternoon and followed it to the 2000 block of Ethel Street at close to 4:20 p.m. Holmes said the car stopped and a man ran from the vehicle into an apartment building.

After containing the area around Ethel Street and Sutherland Avenue, police arrested a man and a woman in connection with the robbery.
