Have an idea for a collaborative art project that you can share with others? Then consider picking up an application for community public art projects.
Community public art is a way for artists and the community to collaborate on creative projects. A total of $10,000 in matching support is available annually from the City of Kelowna Public Art Reserve Fund.
An information workshop will be held in the Scotiabank Room, Rotary Centre for the Arts, Nov. 3, 7 p.m. Groups interested in applying can learn more about what’s involved in an application and managing a community public art project. For more information call 250-469-8474.
