…Equipped with a new $27,000 van, seen here in a Speed Watch patrol being set by volunteers Ron Mullins (left) and Ted Bens on Shannon Lake Road, Citizens Patrol now has reliable transportation for its many community policing initiatives. The old van was 12 years old, prompting West Kelowna to buy a new vehicle, which it lends to the group.
