West Kelowna pub damaged in break-in

Police say thieves used a pickup truck to ram into a West Kelowna pub during a break-in Friday morning.

The break-in at Friends Neighbourhood Pub took place around 5:15 a.m. and involved the culprits backing into the Boucherie Road pub's front doors with a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Investigators believe the truck, which has damage to the right tail light, is a newer model Dodge Ram, possiblly a dark coloured 2007-2008 model of the 1500, 2500 or 3500 series. It could also be a 2009 Ram 3500.

Anyone who can help police identify the vehicle involved in the break-in is asked to call West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can call 1-800-222-8477.
