A man was stabbed and sent to hospital with injuries on Friday afternoon.

Abbotsford Police, fire and ambulance were called out to a report of a bleeding man on Robertson Avenue just after 3 p.m.

A middle-aged man with stab wounds to his torso was located on Ware Street near Mill Lake Road.

He got medical treatment on scene and was transported to Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
