Charges laid in Thornhill murder

A local Terrace man has been charged with last week's Thornhill murder.
Brandon Davey, 21, has been charged with the second degree murder of a 46-year-old Terrace man.
RCMP had arrived at a Thornhill residence Nov. 17 around 4:15 p.m. and found the man covered in blood and screaming. The man had been assaulted and suffered a serious injury, and was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital. He was then medevaced to Vancouver, where he passed away.
Police say the murder was not a random act, and both the suspect and the victim were known to each other.
Davey remains in custody until his next court appearance scheduled Dec. 1.
The RCMP say it will not be disclosing more details about the investigation since it is before the courts.
