Television news reporter and bestselling author Mike McCardell will attend a book signing for his newly-released book, The Expanded Reilly Method Saturday, Nov. 28 at Black Bond Books, Royal City Centre in New Westminster at 1 p.m.
Partial proceeds from the book will be donated to Variety, Children’s Charity. McCardell’s previous four books have raised over $65,000 for Variety.
The Expanded Reilly Method is based on McCardell’s relationship with an autistic nine-year-old boy named Reilly. The boy was perfectly convinced he could catch a fish in a polluted urban pond with a stick, paperclip and a piece of string.
Reilly’s unshakeable faith—the Reilly Method—has worked for McCardell as well and in the book he puts it to the test as he stumbles from one complicated and comical situation to another.
