Comox Valley RCMP have confirmed the sudden death on Hornby Island of Tempest Grace Gale, 25, is a homicide.

Police have confirmed foul play is suspected in the sudden death of 25-year old Tempest Grace Gale on Hornby Island following the release of autopsy results Friday afternoon.
The investigation is now being treated as a homicide, said Comox Valley RCMP in a press release.
Gale was a well-known and loved performer on the island. Her body was found in the water at Ford's Cove Marina around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday near the boat where she lived with her boyfriend.
