An assault in Tatchet has RCMP seeking a man who they believe is in the Burns Lake region.

On Nov. 14, Houston/Granisle RCMP responded to a report of an adult male beaten by a couple of others on Eagle Nest Crescent. Soon after, RCMP discovered a group of 15 to 20 individuals yelling and fighting in front of the residence. Once RCMP established peace to the crowd, they found the lone male victim, who appeared to have a broken right arm.

"A hockey stick was likely to have been the weapon of opportunity," Sgt. Sean Wadelius said.

Sean George was arrested on the scene, and has since been released, with conditions to appear at a yet to be determined court date. RCMP issued one unendorsed warrant for Keller Williams, who RCMP believe has left the area for the lakes district.

"We're still following up with the investigation, the cause hasn't been determined," Wadelius said.

Anyone with information on Keller's whereabouts is asked to contact the Houston RCMP or Crimestoppers.
