Comox Valley RCMP are investigating what they call the sudden death of Tempest Grace Gale, 25, on Hornby Island.
The deceased was a well-known and loved performer on Hornby Island, the RCMP add in a news release. She was a musician, poet, unicyclist and stilt walker.
Earlier, RCMP said they have a person of interest at the detachment and are speaking to many other people.
They said they had not ruled out foul play.
