Person arrested in connection with sudden death of Fraser Lake infant

One person has been arrested following the sudden death of an infant in Fraser Lake.
Fraser Lake RCMP report that they began their investigation in the early morning hours of November 15. Members of the North District Major Crime Section were immediately sent to the small community approximately 160 km west of Prince George.
As this investigation has just begun, RCMP are unable to confirm any details, except that the body of an infant has been recovered and one person is in custody. Investigators are not looking for any other suspects at this time. More details will be released at a later date.
The North District Major Crime Section and the BC Coroner's Service continue to investigate this tragic event.
