Roads closed for Remembrance ceremony

The annual Remembrance Day parade in South Burnaby will take place Wednesday, Nov. 11 starting at 10:30 a.m.

The parade by the Royal Canadian Legion branch No. 83 and the Korean Veterans Association unit No. 14 will start at the Kal Tire parking lot at Bennett Street and Nelson Avenue. They’ll march east on Bennett, south on Nelson, and southwest on Jubilee to the cenotaph at Nelson and Imperial Street where ceremonies will start at 11 a.m.

Road closures will be in effect. Jubilee will remain closed until the event concludes at about 12:30 p.m.
