Passing the torch
The Olympic torch changes hands at Union Bay. That exchange Monday morning was followed by others, before and after a celebration of the Games at Lewis Park in Courtenay. After visiting the K'ómoks Band, Comox and CFB Comox, the flame headed up Highway 19A bound for Campbell River and beyond. See Wednesday's comox Valley Record for more.
