UPDATE: Victim of shooting in Abbotsford not co-operating with police

The victim of Saturday’s early morning shooting is not co-operating with investigators, according to Abbotsford Police.

Police were called to a shooting in the 2100 block of Beaver Street at 3 a.m. Saturday. A man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and released later that day.

APD officers and members of the emergency response team (ERT) converged on a home where the shooting was believed to have taken place.

After several hours, the ERT entered the home but found no trace of a suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
