Vandals have struck in Salmo.

On July 17 or 18, the Royal Canadian Legion on 4th Street in Salmo had graffiti sprayed painted on the back of the building, facing the park.

Vulgar language was sprayed in gold paint.

In a similar incident and, most likely at the same time, some eggs were thrown at another building in Salmo.

Patrols were made but no suspects were located. A half carton of eggs has been seized and video surveillance is being reviewed.

Anybody with information is asked to call the Salmo RCMP at 250-357-2212.
