Police respond to call about a man with a knife in Bradner

A 911 call about a man with a knife in a north Bradner neighbourhood at about 5 p.m. tonight drew a heavy police response, but the incident ended without answers.

With some blood on him, a knife-wielding man was spotted in a resident's backyard. He confronted the homeowner, and was apparently confused about someone chasing him, according to a police spokesperson.

He then disappeared into bushes in the rural area.

Multiple police units responded to the call, along with the Air One police helicopter. However, they found no one.
