Liberal nomination to be held for new riding

Liberal Party of Canada members can vote for the first-ever Liberal candidate in the newly formed riding of Mission - Matsqui - Fraser Canyon. The next federal election will be held in October 2015.

The new riding includes the northernmost portion of Abbotsford, all of Mission and reaches up through the Interior, north of Lillooet and Ashcroft.

The Liberal Party of Canada has issued a meeting to nominate a candidate on Saturday, June 14 at 11 a.m. in the Cadet Building at Abbotsford Exhibition Park.

Members of the party can vote beginning after the speeches at 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
