70th Anniversary: D-Day landings in Normandy, France

Canadian John Ross, 93, is one of only two survivors of the country's parachute battalion, from the Normandy mission on June 6, 1944.

The government of France is honouring Canadian veterans who took part in the Juno Beach mission and 'Operation Overlord', giving them The National Order of the Legion of Honour.
