Police want your help to identify female fraudster

Kelowna RCMP are looking for an unknown woman who is suspected of racking up thousands of dollars in fraud damage over the last few months.
Countless surveillance video images at numerous locations in the Central Okanagan have been showing what appears to be the same thing recently: A dark-haired Caucasian woman making purchases with stolen credit cards.
Police have opened at least a half dozen investigations involving thefts from vehicles and subsequent frauds but there are likely more that have yet to be linked.
The fraud damage is estimated to be several thousand dollars already but continues to increase the longer she goes unidentified.
The suspect appears to be the same in all of them and investigators are now turning to the public for help in identifying her.
The suspect is described as:
  • Caucasian female
  • Slim build
  • Long black hair, usually tied back in a pony tail
  • Late 20s or early 30s
Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
