Body recovered on Columbia River

A body of a woman was recovered in the Columbia River on Friday.

Trail RCMP, with assistance from Search and Rescue crews, recovered the body around 7 p.m. near the Trail airport.

A press release from the detachment said foul play is not suspected.

Currently the RCMP is working with the BC Coroners Service for positive identification and notification of next of kin.
