A semi-truck went off the road on Highway 1 around 5 a.m. Friday morning.

The accident occurred just before the McCallum Road highway exit, heading westbound.

Crews arrived on scene around 9 a.m. to clear the site. Though nothing from the truck had spilled, crews had to remove the plastic products destined for recycling that the truck was carrying in order to upright the rig.
