Fake courier believed responsible for break-in
A man pretending to be a FedEx courier is believed to be responsible for a break-in at a Quayside Drive condo complex.
On March 11, a resident allowed a man claiming to be a FedEx courier into the building. Although he had a FedEx envelope, he did not produce identification and wasn't wearing a uniform. A break-in to one of the building's residences was discovered later in the day and NWPD investigators think he was the culprit. FedEx confirmed the man was not one of its employees.
He is described as Caucasian, five-foot-10 with a heavy build, dark hair just covering the ears, dark pants, brown or black leather jacket and carrying a satchel.
Anyone with information on this incident or the suspect is asked to call Const. Tomas Graham at 604-525-5411 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222.8477.
