Port Alberni RCMP is investigating the disappearance of a 54-year-old man who was last seen on March 14, 2013. Ken WILSON is Caucasian, 168cm (five-foot-six), 45kg (100 pounds), with grey hair and resides in the 3800-block of Anderson Avenue.

There is no indication of foul play at this time, according to an RCMP press release, and information received by investigators indicates that Wilson was experiencing some emotional stress and depression, raising concerns for his family and friends.

Wilson is known to frequent local hiking trails and the Port Alberni Search and Rescue is working with the RCMP to help locate him, but all searches have been unsuccessful at this time.

RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance and is asking residents to check their properties.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424, or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
