Nelson celebrates St. Patrick’s Day
It's easy being green today at Nelson watering holes as the party celebrating St. Patrick's Day is in full swing.
Finley's Irish Bar & Grill got the festivities going at 10:30 a.m. with a special St. Patrick's Day breakfast. By noon the music of Foggy Mountain Rangers kicked it up a notch and the green beer was flowing. The party at the Vernon Street establishment goes all day and into the night.
Down the block at the historic Hume Hotel, the pints were being poured as staff and customers celebrated the 115th birthday of the Nelson cornerstone. Tonight's entertainment at the Hume will feature Von Butcher & Friends.
