DriveBC is advising Hwy 3 will be closed from 5 km east of Kootenay Pass Summit to Kootenay Pass Summit for avalanche control from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT today (Sunday March 17th).
Detour available from Nelson to Creston, Hwy 3A, Kootenay Lake Ferry, Estimated travel time 2.5 hours.
