Construction makes for busy Nelson intersection

City of Nelson crews are busy tackling water main construction in the 900 block of Vernon street.
The road will be closed during evacuation and parking is restricted.
Residents in the area may have their water shut off from time to time during the construction and where possible notice will be given. City staff are advising homeowners have adequate water on hand and hot water tanks and boilers are protected from draining.
The City says they will try to minimize disruption as much as possible during the project and anyone with questions or concerns is welcome to call 250-352-8238.
