Death in Hedley suspected homicide

Princeton RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in Hedley.
According to witnesses, Hedley resident Doug Smith was found dead in a trailer he had been resident in for roughly a year.
According to sources in Hedley, two neighbours looking for Smith opened the trailer to find him head down, covered in pillows. When they removed the pillows, they discovered a gunshot wound to the head. Apparently no weapons were found anywhere in the trailer.
It is also speculated in the village that a local man who Smith recently befriended is being sought by police.
