Comox Valley threesome sworn into RCMP

rcmp.jpg

Three local men were sworn in at a ceremony earlier this month at the Comox Valley RCMP detachment with Insp. Blair McDonald, the officer in charge of the detachment.

The trio, which has officially joined the RCMP, left later that same day for Depot, the RCMP training academy in Regina.

All three have experience as military police officers so they will be part of a troop which will be doing a condensed version of the training. Once their training has been successfully completed

they will be off to their already known postings.

Michael Charles Young will serve in Burns Lake, Phillip Joseph Hochu will be in Fort Nelson and Adam Alexander Taylor will be in Chetwynd.

"We are wishing them all the best in their upcoming training and their careers in the RCMP," McDonald said.
