Emergency Revelstoke power outage early Sunday morning
BC Hydro has announced an emergency power outage on Sunday, Feb. 24 from 5–8 a.m. in Revelstoke and surrounding areas.
Hydro sent out an urgent media notice on Saturday to help inform residents of the outage.
Here is a BC Hydro media release sent to the Revelstoke Times Review on Saturday, Feb. 23 just before 3 p.m.:
BC Hydro has scheduled an emergency outage for this Sunday Feb 24 from 5 am to 8 am to allow BC Hydro crews to safely complete emergency repairs on the distribution circuit that feeds the main downtown area in Revelstoke.
Also affected by this outage will be customers north of Robson Avenue up to and including Westside Road, West on the Trans Canada Highway to Clan William Overpass, and East on the Trans Canada Highway to Mount Revelstoke Park Road.
