Secret Agents fill the Nelson Civic Theatre
Greeted by screaming paparazzi on the red carpet, movie lovers filled the Civic Theatre for the first time in three years. The sold out James Bond Grand Gala brought out hundreds of people dressed in costume to sip martinis to see the latest James Bond flick. Before the screening, Civic Theatre Society executive director Roger Ley announced that an anonymous community member had put up the $60,000 needed to buy the first digital projector for the theatre.
