UPDATE: Power back on in Ladner

Close to 3,500 BC Hydro customers in Ladner were without power Tuesday afternoon after a fallen tree that severed an overhead power line around 3:30 p.m.

The affected area covered all of Ladner west of Highway 10, between Deas Island Road in the north and Deltaport Way in the south.

BC Hydro crews were able to restore power to the area by 5 p.m. Tuesday evening.
