Delta council meetings now available live by webcast

Delta has launched live streaming video of Regular Meetings of Council and Public Hearings through their new website, www.delta.ca.
The new service gives residents the opportunity to watch meetings live and view archived webcasts from the comfort of their home.
“I am pleased to introduce webcasting,” said Mayor Lois E. Jackson. “This new service enhances direct public access to the decisions, questions and deliberations that happen at this Council table – and provides a great medium for connecting residents with their local government.”
Users will required a computer with an Internet connection and web browser to view the webcast. The next council meeting is tonight (Jan. 28) at 7 p.m.
