Man flees with cash from early Saturday morning robbery
Police are seeking a male suspect following an early Saturday morning robbery at the 7-Eleven convenience store on the Trans-Canada Highway in Duncan.
A white male in his 20s, wearing a mask and sunglasses, entered the store and produced a knife around 4:30 a.m.
The clerk reported the man demanded money and he gave him a small amount from the till.
The male fled the scene immediately and headed north in the direction of Shoppers Drug Mart.
Police Dog Services attended but could not locate the suspect. Surveillance video is also being reviewed.
There was a customer inside the store at the time buying a coffee. Another witness was outside the store.
Police are looking for any other witnesses who may have been in the area at the time and saw anything that would help to apprehend the individual.
