Parolee wanders away from Kamloops halfway house
Kamloops RCMP are looking for a parolee who left a halfway house in Kamloops on Monday, Jan. 14, and did not return.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Andrew Robert Hardenstine, 32, a federal parolee with a lengthy criminal record of violence against people.
Police suspect Hardenstine has left the Central Interior and may be headed to the Lower Mainland or to Grand Forks, the border community near Osoyoos.
He is described as standing five-foot-nine and weighing about 200 pounds, with a shaved head and blue eyes.
The top of his left ring finger his left little finger have been amputated and he has a full-sleeve tattoo on each of his arms.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
