Light A Bulb campaign a success
North Okanagan residents have demonstrated their support for health care again.
The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation's Light A Bulb has raised $203,500, surpassing the $200,000 target.
"We wish to thank the community for donations this holiday season supporting theses vital needs at Vernon Jubilee Hospital," said Michael Concannon, campaign chairperson.
“Each year, we at the Foundation are amazed by the generosity shown by people living in the North Okanagan."
The funds will go towards high definition cameras for endoscopic surgery and a video colposcopy system.
"We are grateful that residents continue to remember our needs at VJH," said Concannon.
