Idle No More to gather at Victoria Quay Dec. 31

There will be a peaceful rally in support of the Idle No More Movement in Port Alberni on Monday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. at Victoria Quay.

Organizers say they will also be showing their support for Attiwapiskat Chief Theresa Spence, who is currently fasting in a teepee on Victoria Island in Ottawa.

Another rally has been planned for Jan. 3 at North Island College.

The public is welcome to join in the rally.
