Lacrosse hall contract awarded

New Westminster has awarded a $67,000 contract for the design of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame that will be included in Anvil Centre, the new Downtown civic facility. Public Architecture & Communication, the same company that is also designing the New Westminster Museum space for Anvil Centre for the city, was awarded the contract to design the hall’s exhibits and displays. The hall’s board of governors supported the decision and has committed to providing $40,000 for the work which will start immediately.
