Man charged with rash of vehicle break ins

Thirty-one charges related to a series of car break-ins on the east side of New Westminster over several weeks have been approved against a 26-year-old man.

Richard Johnson McAfee was arrested on Nov. 29 and will face one charge of break and enter, 18 of theft under $5,000 and 12 for mischief.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
