Errington experiencing string of B&Es
Errington residents were warned to be wary this week after a rash of thefts from the area. Oceanside RCMP Corporal Jesse Foreman issued the warning after a house under construction in Errington was broken into overnight on Nov. 27.
“The door of the residence was left unlocked and the suspect or suspects entered and stole food,” he said. “An unlocked truck was parked in the driveway and also entered.”
He said this was the latest in a string of recent break and entry thefts in the Errington area and likened it to a string of similar thefts in the Nanoose Bay area last year.
