Nelson's Selkirk College hosts Gala evening

Selkirk College hosted its annual gala on Saturday night at the Tenth Street Campus.
Almost 200 people turned out for the evening that showcased the talent of area college students. Entertainment brought out the theme of the night: College Without Borders.
The five-course meal was prepared by Professional Cooking Program students and overseen and served by the Hotel and Resort Management students.
The evening included a silent and live auction, along with a raffle. The gala is one of the college's major fundraisers of the year.
