New features editor knows Comox Valley well

The newest features editor for the Record's About Town section knows the Comox Valley well.
Jennifer Cox has strong roots in the community, born and raised in the Comox Valley.
She specializes in public relations and creative non-fiction with a passion for projects that promote local people and businesses. She aims for writing that touches on the extraordinary that lies within each seemingly ordinary person and event.
Building on a diploma in public relations from UVic Continuing studies she is now working on a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Liberal Studies at Vancouver Island University.
About Town, which celebrates downtown Courtenay, is published three times a year. Its 35th edition is within today's Record as an insert.
