Suspect allegedly conceals bottle in his pants during liquor store theft
A male suspect is being sought in a theft at the Liquor Plus outlet on the Trans-Canada Highway in Duncan on the evening of Nov. 19.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with short blond hair, who was wearing a black and grey zip-up jacket and a reflective safety vest, according to North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
The suspect allegedly took a one-litre bottle of Grey Goose Vodka and removed the security tag. It was concealed in his pants.
"Staff noted the theft just after he had left,'' noted Cpl. Jon Stuart. "The surveillance video confirmed the theft, and still images were obtained.''
It is hoped the public can identify the suspect from the image obtained by store surveillance.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-748-5522 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
