Small fire outside of Boston Pizza in Williams Lake doused quickly by staff

A fire in the cardboard storage area outside the front of Boston Pizza on Donald Street in Williams Lake was quickly doused just before 5 p.m. Nov. 16.
Manager Jason Ouimet said the all of the staff helped, using fire extinguishers and water buckets.
"The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There was a little bit of damage to the side of the building, but we're open for business."
Members of the Williams Lake Fire department attended the fire, along with Fortis Gas, who arrived to ensure the gas line was not impacted.
