A Remembrance Day to forget in Dallas
It was a Remembrance Day to forget for a Kamloops man who spent Nov. 11 in a jail cell after allegedly firing a gun at a home in Dallas.
Kamloops RCMP were called to a home on Kipp Road just after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, after a report of a shooting.
One man was taken into custody.
Investigators believe a gun was fired from within the residence prior to police arriving at the scene, but no one was injured.
A woman was also in the home at the time of the shooting.
In addition to the arrest, police said they also seized a firearm from the home.
As of Monday, Nov. 12, the suspect was being held in custody pending the results of a police investigation.
